Thoroughbreds are versatile athletes that thrive when having a job and a purpose, both on and off the racetrack. To establish standards for nonprofit organizations that transition Thoroughbreds upon exit from racing, the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance was created as an industry-united initiative in 2012. Funds raised by the TAA, including the funds from this silent auction, are awarded as grants to accredited aftercare organizations and go toward the TAA’s accreditation and inspection process.
