+ What is Equestricon®?
Equestricon® is an international horse racing convention, trade show and fan festival that will bring together racing fans and industry stakeholders at all levels to participate in a lively atmosphere of engagement, discussion, and entertainment.
+ Who’s organizing Equestricon® and why are they doing it?
Equestricon® is being organized by young racehorse owners and breeders Justin Nicholson and Kathryn Sharp, and writer, handicapper, and racing ambassador Dan Tordjman. The founders are also consulting with a talented advisory board, composed of respected members of the industry. The organizers of Equestricon® as well as its advisory board members have built careers in the racing industry and are passionate about ensuring that it continues to thrive for many years to come. + Who should attend Equestricon?
Equestricon® is intended to be an event for everyone, featuring fan-centric activities geared toward families and casual fans, as well as seminars and panels for participants looking to learn more about handicapping, ownership and increased participation at every level of the sport. Whatever level of interest or involvement you have in racing when you enter Equestricon®, we hope you will feel even more attached to the sport when you leave!
+ When and where is Equestricon®?
Equestricon® 2018 will take place at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Lousiville on Oct 29-30 on Breeders' Cup Festival Week!
+ What will happen on each day of Equestricon?
Equestricon® General Session takes place over Monday, October 29th and Tuesday, October 30th. Additional offsite events and experiences will be available on Sunday, October 28th and Wednesday, October 31st. More information can be found under the 'Convention' tab.
+ Who will I see at Equestricon®?
You will see owners, breeders, trainers, jockeys, representatives from farms, veterinarians, sales companies, racing journalists, social media personalites and innovators from all corners of the sport. The projected guest list at Equestricon® will also include legendary racing personalities who will be available for meet and greets.
+ Where can I view the Equestricon® schedule?
The Equestricon® preliminary schedule is now live under the 'Convention' tab.
+ What kind of social events can I attend at Equestricon®?
On each day of the convention there will be opportunities to attend networking and social events, meet and greets, social media gatherings, and more. VIP guests will have access to additional programming and events.
+ What are Equestricon®’s onsite scheduled hours?
Onsite hours are Monday, October 29th 10AM-8PM and Tuesday, October 30th 9AM - 6PM. These hours are subject to change. Will Call pick up will be available in the convention lobby starting Sunday, October 28th at 10AM.
+ Is the convention two days or three days?
The Equestricon® General Session will take place over Monday, October 29th and Tuesday, October 30th. Additional experiences will be made available all week long as a part of the Breeders' Cup Festival Week Lineup.
+ Where can I get something to eat at Equestricon®?
Guests at Equestricon® have a wide range of dining options to choose from in Lousiville, KY. In addition, attendees will be able to purchase drinks and light concessions in the Main Exhibit Hall. Exhibitors and Sponsors will also have access to Equestricon® refreshment lounge near the exhibit floor.

+ Where can I purchase tickets?

+ How much does it cost to attend Equestricon®?
Ticket pricing for Equestricon® varies depending on packages and add-ons. For a full description of currently available pass types, please click here
+ Does Equestricon® offer One-Day passes?
Yes. In 2018 Equestricon® will offer Single Day Trade Show Only Passes for $10 plus fees per day. This pass will only allow attendees to explore the trade show portion, bars and lounges, tech hub and other Main Floor activities, excluding the TRACK TALKS Speaker Series.
+ Can I register for and attend an "add-on" activity with just a General Admission ticket?
Some add-ons are only available to Equestricon® passholders, while others are available to the general public. Please reference the ticket descriptions to determine which pass type is accessible.
+ Can I register for a single panel without purchasing the Multi-Day Panel Pass?
No. All Panels, Workshops, Speaker Series, and Seminars are available only to Two-Day All-Access Convention Pass and up. Single Day Trade Show Only Passes do not offer access to panel programming.
+ What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Tickets to Equestricon® 2018 are non-refundable.
+ Can I transfer my registration if I can’t make Equestricon®?
Once a badge registration is completed, badges are not transferable. Advance badge registration is not required to attend Equestricon®, but attendees who register will be able to take advantage of Swift Check-in, Tap-to-Share Photo Sharing, Digital Scratch-off and other exciting features.
+ Why is Equestricon® using RFID credentials this year?
Registered RFID wristbands and badges will allow attendees to swiftly enter the convention, share contact information with their favorite racing organizations, tap for instant-win prizes, and much more! Trade Show Only Passes will receive an RFID wristband, while Two-Day All Access Convention Passes, VIP Experience Passholders, and Festival Insider Passholders will receive Lanyards and Collectible Badges.
+ Where and when can I pick up my event pass?
All passes will be mailed approximately one month prior to the event. Tickets purchased within ten days of the event will either be mailed or available at Will Call. International attendees can take advantage of the International Will Call starting on Sunday, October 28th at the Kentucky International Convention Center.

+ What are the benefits of exhibiting my product or service at Equestricon®?
Whether it’s an equine product or handicapping service, Equestricon® is the only event during the year that allows vendors to directly engage with target consumers from all corners of the racing industry. Exhibitors will have access to Equestricon® refreshment lounges on the exhibit floor. We also expect a large media presence at Equestricon, which may afford exhibitors additional opportunities to showcase products and services.
+ How can I register as an exhibitor for Equestricon®? What are the exhibitor rates?
Exhibitor space at the 2018 Equestricon® is NOW ON SALE. Availability is limited and selling out quickly. Interested exhibitors should email Dan Montesano at dan.montesano@equestricon.org
+ Do exhibitors get priority points?
Yes. Returning exhibitors will earn discounted exhibitor rates for a limited time.

+ How can I reserve a hotel room? Is housing included in registration?
Housing is not included in registration. Attendees are able to find special hotel rates at our Official Hotels by checking the 'Hotels' section under the 'Visit' tab. Supplies will be limited, so we encourage booking fast!
